Community management
With a focus on senior citizens, we plan end run workplaces, learning places, and recreational places. We also support people who want to create such places in their own towns.
Here are some examples of the places we have created.
“BABA lab Saitama Kobo”: A place where elder people can work doing what you love even at 100 years old.
- Opened in Saitama Prefecture in 2011, the workplace for the staffs of women aged 40 to 90.
- The workplace for a variety of the staffs, including those who enjoy sewing, teaching handicrafts, and sales.
- The stuffs visit the workplace once or twice a week to work, come up with product ideas, chat, and sometimes hold workshops to teach handicrafts.
“Saitama City Senior University” :
A place of learning attended by 1,000 seniors every year. Students study, make friends, and enjoy club activities.
- Seniors can learn about a variety of subjects, including health, exercise, history, art, and law. We offer trendy curriculums every year.
- Seniors come looking for opportunities to get involved in their communities as a first step after retirement.
- Even after graduation, we provide support to help seniors continue to live healthy lives by working, volunteering, and participating in club activities.
